Biography
Giovanni Capua is a Senior Product Leader with over 25 years of experience across electrification, digital transformation, and service operations as well as Product Management leadership roles. Giovanni currently serves as Global Head of Digital Product Management at ABB. In this capacity, he leads and develops a global digital product management chapter of product managers and product owners, building strong product organizations through capability development. He acts as a Digital Product Management expert, shaping product strategy, standards, and best practices at enterprise scale. Prior to his current role, Giovanni was Product Owner and Global Product Manager Digital within ABB’s Electrification Smart Power division, where he led an Agile team developing cloud-based Asset Management solutions.
Earlier in his career, he held different leadership roles, gaining extensive experience at ABB and General Electric, leading service operations for major international events including the Tokyo Olympics 2020, Sochi 2014, Rio 2016, and Pyeongchang 2018. He pioneered the integration of remote monitoring and connectivity systems in mission critical environments, establishing the foundation for his current focus on digital product innovation and scaling.
